Girls Track and Field: Here are LNP's 2018 L-L League all-stars

Donegal Athletic teams continue to impress. Girls and Boys Track and field are no exception. Congratulations go to our standout athletes who continue to exemplify pride in the Tribe! The following is a list of all-star girls from the track and field season, selected by LNP's Tim Gross. For the boys' list, click here.

100-meter dash: Lily Palacio-Lewis, Warwick (L-L League runner-up; District Three-3A runner-up; PIAA-3A fifth place)

200-meter dash: Leah Graybill, Warwick (L-L League champion; District Three-3A runner-up; PIAA-3A fourth place

400-meter dash: Alice Fernald, Donegal (L-L League third place; District Three-3A runner-up; PIAA-3A sixth place)

800-meter run: Katie Locker, Elizabethtown (L-L League champion; District Three-3A champion)

1,600-meter run: Lianna Tirado, McCaskey (L-L League runner-up; District Three-3A sixth place; PIAA-3A 12th place)

Track Athlete of the Year: Leah Graybill, Warwick

A key member of a Warriors team that captured L-L League and District Three Class 3A team titles, Graybill posted some of the best times in league history in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash. She was also a member of Warwick's 4x100-meter relay team and 4x400-meter relay team that won league and district titles. Individually, Graybill won league titles in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash, earned a bronze and a silver in districts and medaled in both events at states.

Field Athlete of the Year: Mackenzie Horn, Manheim Township

After striking pole vault gold at the indoor state championships in February, Horn made a historic run through the outdoor season, setting L-L League, District Three and PIAA records on her gold-tinted campaign. Horn was the first girl in Pennsylvania history to clear 13 feet, 7.5 inches, leading an L-L League girls contingent that grabbed five District Three Class 3A medals and sent three individuals to the medal stand at states.
