Seniors Nominated for A. Landis Brackbill Scholar Athletes Award

Two graduating seniors at Donegal High School were recently nominated for the prestigious A. Landis Brackbill Scholar Athletes Award. This award is given to students who exemplify specific qualities that make them exceptional student athletes within the greater community.

DHS Senior Taylor Nissley Places at PIAA Track and Field State Championships

Donegal High School senior Taylor Nissley culminated her high school athletic career with a stellar track and field season. At the end of this season, she earned multiple wins at the PIAA District 3 Track and Field Championships and the PIAA Track and Field State Championships.

Donegal loses longtime coach Bernie Thome

Donegal lost a longtime teacher and coach on May 8. Bernie Thome was 81 when he passed away at his home at Brethren Village, Lititz, PA, on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He spent thirty years at Donegal, teaching mathematics and computer science and coaching high school soccer, track and field, and Jr. High basketball, touching many lives.
