On a farm team, players get the experience and training they need, and help moving up to a higher level as they succeed. And in a very real way, Donegal has lead the way for growing and developing baseball players in the region, producing a long list of players who were drafted, playing, or have played the sport over the past several decades.

In 1980, 18-year-old Donegal grad Mitch Johnson was selected in the 3rd round of the Amateur Entry Draft by the Boston Red Sox.
